Asked to bat, Mumbai posted 179 for six in their 20 overs and in their response they restricted Gujarat to 170.

For Mumbai the best thing that happened with the bat was the 59 run third wicket stand between Nat Sciver-Brunt and skipper Harmanpreet Kaur (54: 33b, 9x4). Towards the end Amanjot Kaur played a cameo to help Mumbai end on 179 for six in their 20 overs. 

In their response Gujarat kept losing wickets at regular intervals. The chase never got off to a good start as Gujarat was reduced to 70 for five.

Then there was a 50 run stand for the seventh wicket between Bharti Fulmali (61: 25b, 8x4, 4x6) and Simran Shaikh. This stand revived the chase, but towards the end Gujarat lost wickets at regular intervals. In the end Gujarat was bowled out for 170.
