SCORECARD

Gill was dismissed by Mehidy Hasan for 110, while Cheteshwar Pujara also scored a century, finishing on 102 not out. KL Rahul and Virat Kohli also contributed to the strong batting performance for India. Can Bangladesh make history and pull off the win, or will India's impressive performance prove too much to overcome?"

"Shubman Gill and Cheteshwar Pujara shared a partnership of 113 runs for the second wicket in India's second innings, with Gill hitting 10 fours and three sixes en route to a century. KL Rahul decided not to enforce the follow-on after India bowled out Bangladesh for 150, with Kuldeep Yadav leading the attack and taking career-best figures of 5-40. India quickly wrapped up the Bangladesh tail in the third day, needing only an hour to do so after Bangladesh resumed on 133-8."

Axar Patel took the final wicket of Mehidy Hasan, who put up some late resistance before being dismissed for 25. Fast bowler Mohammed Siraj also performed well, taking 3-20 as India dominated the match. Mushfiqur Rahim was the top scorer for Bangladesh with 28 runs before being dismissed by Kuldeep Yadav, while off-spinner Mehidy claimed 4-112 and left-arm spinner Taijul took 4-133 for the hosts. In India's first innings, Shreyas Iyer and Ravichandran Ashwin both scored impressive totals of 86 and 58 runs, respectively."
