During the chase, Thailand Women got off to a terrible start and lost 4 wickets for just 21 runs. Nattaya Boochatham in the middle order scored 21 runs off 29 balls and instilled a little hope for the chase. However, once she was dismissed, all the hopes for Thailand Women chasing the target faded away. They were restricted to 74 for 9 in 20 overs to lose the match by 74 runs.
