After ceding to the pressure from broadcasters, the organizers have decided to shorten the length of the competition. Only 44 games will be played during this edition. Each team will play 10 matches in the league stages before heading on for the Playoffs.
There will be a window of rest between December 14-18, in order to avoid going head to head with the Pakistan's Tour of Australia.
The Final match of the competition will be played on 24th of January.
The matches will be played at these venues:
1. Melbourne - MCG & Marvel Stadium
2. Sydney - SCG & Sydney Showground
3. Adelaide - Adelaide Oval
