A bowling masterclass from Evan Jones and Bjorn Fortuin was enough to guide Paarl Royals to a 10 run win over Durban Super Giants today.

SCORECARD

Durban Super Giants won the toss and put the Royals into bat, however despite an early wicket Jos Buttler (35) and Wihan Lubbe (57*) rallied to get things back on track.

David Miller (28) added some runs of his own before Dwaine Pretorius (2/35) cleared up the other middle order.

It had swung back and forth through out the innings, Paarl Royals heading in at 169, a defendable total for sure.

It was a slow start, openers Kyle Mayers (12) and Wiaan Mulder (29) adding runs before things turned sour for the Super Giants.

Evan Jones (4/33) and Bjorn Fortuin (3/14) dismantled what was left of the batsmen, despite an unmovable Heinrich Klaasen (57*) who struck a half century.

It wasn't enough however, as Paarl Royals made away with a 10 run win over Durban Super Giants.
