ICC Men's T20 World Cup East Asia Pacific Qualifier is commencing on the 22nd of July with Japan and Philippines locking horns against one another in the Inaugural match of the tournament.

Papua New Guinea is hosting the 8 day event with 4 teams including the hosts participating in it. 12 matches will be played during the competition and all of the games will be played at the Amini Park, Port Moresby in Papua New Guinea.
The teams participating in the tournament are Japan, Philippines, Vanuatu and PNG.
The winner of the event will book their berth in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024. The remaining three teams will be automatically disqualified.
ICC Men's T20 World Cup East Asia Pacific Qualifier will run its course in adjacence to the schedule of Europe Qualifiers. Both of the competitions are a qualification round for the teams to book their spot in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup in 2024.
It is a great opportunity for one of the four teams to perform and seal their qualification for the big event.
