The opening match of ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier B will feature China facing off against the hosts Malaysia.
Malaysia will definitely start as favorites to win the competition, pertaining to their current form.
The five teams participating in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier are Malaysia, China, Bhutan, Myanmar and Thailand. There will be 10 matches played during the competition. All of the games will be played at the Bayuemas Sports and Event Complex, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The Asia region Qualifier for the ICC Men's World Cup 2024 is a pathway to proceed to another event to be held in Qatar, which will decide the teams that will proceed to the main event.
The winning sides willl go on to participate in the Asia Regional Final that will feature others teams including Nepal, UAE, Oman, Bahrain and Hong Kong.
