During the chase, England went all guns blazing from ball one. They smashed the Indian bowlers to all parts of the ground and took their team into a winning position. Alex Hales scored 86 runs off 47 balls while Jos Buttler played a magnificent knock of 80 in 49 balls. Both these batters remained not out and took their team home in the 16th over with 10 wickets in hand.

Mohammad Rizwan was also dismissed at 57. Mohammad Haris finished the match for his team as he scored 30 in 26 balls to take Pakistan home in the 20th over with 7 wickets in hand.
