Caribbean Premier League 2024 - Squads, Fixtures and All you need to know
The highly anticipated 12th season of the Caribbean Premier League is getting underway on the 29th of August, with Antigua and Barbuda Falcons facing off St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots in the Inaugural match. The Final match of the Caribbean Premier League is scheduled to take place on the 6th of October.
A total of 6 teams will participate in the Caribbean Premier League namely Antigua and Barbuda Falcons, St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots, Barbados Royals, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Trinbago Knight Riders and Saint Lucia Kings.
Guyana Amazon Warriors are the defending champions of the Caribbean Premier League while Trinbago Knight Riders are the runners up.
A total of 34 matches will be played during the Caribbean Premier League. 30 league matches in a double round robin format with each team facing the other twice. The league stages will be followed by the Playoffs (Qualifier 1, Eliminator, Qualifier 2 and the Final), beginning on the 1st of October. The 3rd and 4th placed teams will face each other in the Eliminator match on 1st October. The top 2 placed teams will lock horns in the Qualifier 1 to be played on the 2nd of October. The loser of Qualifier 1 and the winner of Eliminator will then face each other in Qualifier 2, to be played on the 4th of October. The winner of Qualifier 2 will face the winner of Qualifier 1 in the Finals on 6th of October, 2024, scheduled to be played at the Providence Stadium in Guyana.
6 Stadiums throughout the Caribbean will host the Caribbean Premier League. They are:

4. Kensington Oval, Barbados
5. Daren Sammy Cricket Ground, Saint Lucia

T20 Superstars like Nicholas Pooran, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Tristan Stubbs, Sikandar Raza, Anrich Nortje, Johnson Charles, Noor Ahmad, Faf du Plessis and Sunil Narine are participating in the competition. Given the strength of each of the sides, Caribbean Premier League promises to be a fiercely fought contest.
