Afghanistan secured a victory over Pakistan, triumphing by four wickets during the 19th Asian Games Men’s Cricket second semi-final held at the Zhejiang University of Technology Cricket Field in Hangzhou, China, on Friday.
After being asked to bat first, Pakistan's innings concluded with a total of 115 runs in 18 overs. Afghanistan successfully pursued the target in 17.5 overs.
Omair Yousuf was the highest run-scorer for Pakistan, amassing 24 runs off 19 deliveries, featuring 2 boundaries and 1 six. Aamir Jamal followed with 14 runs from 11 balls, including 1 four and 1 six, while Arafat Minhas contributed 13 runs off 14 deliveries, with 1 four.
